Britney Spears goes Madge for Glee

By Nadia Sam-Daliri

Britney Spears is going all out to make her Glee cameo memorable - and recreating a steamy scene from her duet with Madonna is her first grand idea.

In scenes from her upcoming tribute episode, Britney traps Heather Morris - who funnily enough plays ditzy Brittany in the E4 show - in a replica of her 2003 music video Me Against The Music with the Queen of Pop.

But flashing her trademark cheesy grin instead of reaching in for a smooch as she did with Madge, the singer toned down the raunchiness for the family show.

Earlier this week she posted a mocked-up snap of herself posing with Glee lead Lea Michele on her Twitter page.

She accompanied it with the caption: "About to do my first shot of the day for Glee tweeties! Here we goooo!"

And after filming her first scenes, she raved: "What's up GLEEKS? Having so much fun on set!! Can't wait for you guys to see the episode!"

After putting the latest snap on Twitter, Britney said: "All my Gleekers in the crowd, grab a partner take it down," re-jigging the lyrics from the duet.

Britney is appearing in episode two of the second series of Glee, in an episode entitled Britney/Brittany.

She appears in dreams the Glee club members have after they visit the dentist.

Creator Ryan Murphy admitted Britney was being handled with "kid gloves" and that the episode wouldn't delve into her troubled personal life.

All GLEEks loved the Madonna episode. Let's hope that this will also be a watch-out to all Glee fans. Can't wait to see Brittany and Britney!
