"Glee" Stars to Get Their Own Comic Book

by Jessica Derschowitz

The cast of "Glee" is going the way of Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber - into comic book form.

According to a release on the Vancouver, Wash.-based company's website, the 32-page book, "Fame: The Cast of 'Glee,'" will help fans learn about the paths that cast members Lea Michele, Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer took to stardom.

"Working on 'Glee' was a treat," said Cameron Cooke, who co-wrote the comic's script. "Being a fan of Ryan Murphy's previous work made it very easy to jump headfirst into Glee. It made it easy to see why people are so passionate about their love for this show. It's a phenomenon."

The comic will retail for $3.99 and is due out in November.

Bluewater's "Fame" series has also released editions on other stars including Gaga and Robert Pattinson, and will soon release others on Bieber, Taylor Lautner and David Beckham.
